Application Of Cuprous Oxide In Vegetable Production

Cuprous oxide is also known as the mountain, oxidized low copper, copper master, god copper, big help, etc. The main dosage forms are 56% water-dispersible granules and 86.2% wettable powder or dry suspension. Cuprous oxide is a yellow to red amorphous powder, insoluble in water and organic solvents, soluble in dilute mineral acid, ammonia water and ammonia salt aqueous solution, and chemically stable. It is stable under dry conditions and easily oxidized to form copper oxide in high humidity and moisture.

Cuprous oxide can be used to control bacterial leaf spot disease of pepper, tomato early blight, eggplant bacterial brown spot, tomato fruit rot, eggplant fruit rot, tomato early blight, tomato fruit bull’s eye rot, tomato spot disease, sweet (Spicy) pepper blight, potato late blight, watermelon blight, watermelon anthracnose, cucumber bacterial leaf spot, cucumber downy mildew, celery spot blight. It can also be used for seed dressing, killing cockroaches and snails. Because different crops have different sensitivities to copper ions, the amount of cuprous oxide used in different crops varies greatly. The spraying effect is good before or during the occurrence of the disease, and the spraying should be even and thoughtful.

Prevention and treatment of tomato late blight and early blight: spraying from the beginning of the disease or at the beginning of the disease, using 86.2% water dispersible granules (wettable powder) 80-100 g per acre or 56% water dispersing granules 120-150 g , evenly spray 60~75 kg of water. Spray once every 7~10 days, even spray 3~5 times.

Prevention and treatment of cucumber downy mildew and bacterial leaf spot disease: spraying from the first sight of the lesion, using 86.2% water dispersible granules (wettable powder) per mu, 80~100g or 56% water dispersible granules 120~150 Gram, spray evenly with water 60~75 kg. Spray once every 7~10 days, alternate with other different types of chemicals, spray continuously, and focus on the back of the blade.
