Compared with traditional shielding materials such as metal plates and wire meshes, silicon rubber made of silver-plated hollow glass beads, a special raw material for electromagnetic shielding, not only provides good electromagnetic shielding capabilities, but also inherent rubber elasticity provides protection against water vapor. The rubber compound is mixed on the XK-230 open mill. The feeding sequence is 110-2 methyl ethyl silicone rubber, structure control agent, gas phase nano-silica, coloring agent, and the mixed compound- -Divide into two parts, continue to add glass silver-plated powder, and add vulcanizing agent to the last two parts of the compound on the open mill and mix them evenly. One-stage vulcanization is carried out on a flat vulcanizer, with constant vulcanization temperature, vulcanization time and vulcanization pressure parameters; second-stage vulcanization is carried out in an oven.
The performance test of silver-plated hollow glass microspheres was carried out in accordance with the sample preparation method specified in the relevant standards. The samples of silica gel and conductive rubber were respectively prepared for mechanical performance tests. The test results are shown in Table 1. According to the sample preparation method specified in the relevant standards, the conductive rubber samples were tested for electromagnetic shielding effectiveness.
