Copper ii Oxide or cupric oxide is the inorganic compound with the formula CuO. A black solid, it is one of the two stable oxides of copper, the other being Cu2O or cuprous oxide.
Copper oxide (CuO) nanowire arrays were synthesized by electrodeposition on a copper foam substrate.
The copper ii oxide nanowires have a diameter of about 400-500 nm, and the nanowire tubes are cross-linked to form a porous network-like array film with an array length of 5-10 microns.
The sample macro size does not exceed 3 cm in width and 4 cm in length.
