Ultrafine silver-coated copper powder can give full play to the high conductivity and oxidation resistance of silver, improve the physical and chemical properties of ultra-fine copper powder, and reduce the application cost of pure silver powder. Therefore, ultra-fine silver-coated copper powder is increasingly used in conductive coatings, conductive adhesives and other products. However, there are still some shortcomings in the application of ultra-fine silver-coated copper powder, such as insufficient conductivity and poor antioxidant performance, and there are some shortcomings in domestic products compared with those of some foreign enterprises. Therefore, the purpose of this project is to improve the performance of silver-coated copper powder by studying the preparation technology of silver-coated copper powder, to fill the shortcomings of high-performance ultra-fine silver-coated copper powder in the market, and to replace foreign related products. The significance of this project is that after silver-coated ultra-fine copper powder, it can not only improve the oxidation resistance and conductivity of copper powder, expand the application field of ultra-fine electrolytic copper powder, but also replace silver powder. It has important value in meeting the needs of electromagnetic shielding, conductive fillers, conductive adhesives and other fields. In this paper, superfine electrolytic copper powder is used as raw material. By analyzing and comparing the experimental principles and results of direct replacement and chemical reduction, the process of preparing superfine silver-coated copper powder by composite method is determined. The effects of dispersant and reductant on the properties of ultra-fine Ag-coated copper powder were studied through optimization experiments. The kinds and dosage of complexing dispersant and reductant were determined. The effects of the experimental parameters such as pH value and the adding rate of silver and ammonia on the preparation process were also studied. The structure and properties of ultra-fine Ag-coated copper powder were analyzed by means of scanning electron microscopy, energy dispersive spectrometer, X-ray diffraction, oxygen content tester, laser particle size analyzer and thermogravimetric analyzer. At the same time, the properties of ultra-fine Ag-coated copper powder were compared with those of raw copper powder and ultra-fine Ag-coated copper powder.and so on.
